The mission of PLEDGE is to empower youth through restorative justice, educational programs, and community engagement initiatives. PLEDGE is dedicated to:
- Promoting leadership, education, development, growth, and empowerment.
- Creating structured support networks that provide protection, identity, and solidarity for communities often neglected by traditional systems.
- Fostering equity and ensuring that every member of the community has access to safe and enriching opportunities.

PLEDGE programs are designed to unlock new levels of self-discovery, community engagement, familial connections, and global understanding. We are accompanied by mentors who have navigated similar journeys. While building authentic relationships, we specialize in converting perceived negative energy into constructive, positive attitudes. Our distinctive perspectives are drawn from travel, historical events, culinary exploration, contemporary issues, athletic endeavors, and genuine narratives. We identify specific educational challenges and moments of reflection to present learning innovatively that resonates with your personal preferences.
Excursions
Facilitate opportunities for youth to visit another continent at least once.
Mentorship
Facilitate opportunities for individuals to collaborate with and contribute to their community.
We assist and support young individuals in navigating and initiating their transition into adulthood.
Relationship Building
Eliminate obstacles hindering young leaders from broadening their perspectives, environments, and living conditions.
Classroom Sessions
We facilitate classroom sessions at local schools and community centers to teach leadership and critical thinking skills.

Enjoy food, fun, and chess with friends, family, and community members.
We are building relationships through the game of chess!
We are using Chess to promote strategic thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, planning, focus, and a sense of judgment. Creating a safe environment to promote critical and logical thinking and developing a sense of sportsmanship through overcoming defeats and learning from mistakes. The benefits of building self-esteem, friendships, and a sense of empathy are undeniable. When supported through coaching and discussions with peers, players can discuss problems, find alternative solutions, and improve their perseverance and good judgment.

By fostering genuine connections through meaningful conversations and shared passions, he has built a network of support and understanding.
Recognizing the importance of nurturing young minds, Jay has proactively developed numerous initiatives aimed at empowering the youth within the community. His pursuit of knowledge and growth is evident in the various certifications he has obtained in areas such as mental health, youth development, verbal judo, and violence prevention. Through these qualifications, Jay equips himself with the necessary tools to make a difference and contribute to a safer and more harmonious environment for all.
